Lemon/Wasabi Dip


 

This has been one of my go to sauces for years! Delicious with asparagus, but also something a little different for a veggie platter. Feel free to cut back on the wasabi if it’s too strong. 

 

 

Ingredients:

3 lb thin to medium asparagus

1 cup mayo

4 teaspoons soy sauce

1 ½ teaspoons sugar

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

2 teaspoons wasabi paste

 

Directions:

Roast asparagus. 

 

Whisk together mayo, soy, sugar, lemon juice, and wasabi until sugar is dissolved.

 

Serve asparagus with dip. 

 

**dip may be prepared 1 day ahead and chilled, covered.
