How to Par Freeze
For too many years, I would throw a bunch of chicken breasts, sausages, or whatever in a bag and toss it in the freezer. They would freeze together in a big annoying clump making it such a pain to defrost. Then I learned how to par freeze. So easy and a total game changer!
To Par Freeze :
Lay the meat/filets out on a parchment covered cookie sheet so they are not touching.
Place them flat in freezer for about 1-2 hours allowing them to "partially freeze" or par freeze.
Then toss them in a labeled freezer ziplock bag and leave in freezer.
They'll be ready to go one at a time next time you need them.
