Mom's macaroni salad

 Since I can remember, my mom has been making this macaroni salad for summer picnics and get togethers. It's very simple, but it's a classic and tastes childhood.


Ingredients:

1 box elbow macaroni

1/2 cup Wesson vegetable oil

1/4 cup cider vinegar

2 tbsps sugar

Chopped vidalia onion, celery and carrots (amount to taste)

Mayo

S&P to taste


Directions:

Cooke pasta to package directions, drain and let cool

Add the chopped carrots, celery and onion

Whisk together the oil and vinegar, pour over pasta and veggies and stir to combine

Right before serving, add mayo and salt and pepper to taste
